Qualified Electrical Installation - Limitation of Liabilty

Except where to do so would cause any part of these Terms to be illegal, void or unenforceable, LEDCentral.com.au, its directors and/or employees:

- will not be held responsible or accept any such responsibility in relation to electrical installation or modification of any of any of its products or associated fittings purchased either through LEDCentral.com.au or any associated sale outlet. All electrical installations and modifications including any transformer installation, be it new LED transformer installations or changes from old equipment to new transformers and/or any T8 tube related ballast and starter modifications MUST be conducted by a qualified electrician - The installation method must adhere to Australian standards and lies solely the responsibility of the Electrical professional installing the equipment. Incorrect installation and/or modification of any LEDCentral.com.au supplied product can cause incorrect LED operation as well as serious harm possibly resulting in death to the person conducting the installation or modification. Incorrect electrical installation can cause electrical shorting and fire resulting in loss of property and/or life. Please make sure ALL electrical work is conducted by a Qualified Electrician who adheres to and accepts all responsibility for Australian Standards in electrical installations.

LEDCentral.com.au will always endeavour to have the LED Lighting and related transformer products you request in stock. LEDCentral.com.au will contact within one working day if there will be any delays to your order or if there will be lengthy delays in delivering your product.

Refund and Exchange Policy

LEDCentral.com.au have gone to great lengths to ensure the LED light products and relating transformers are of the highest quality, however if you are not happy with your purchase, please return the item undamaged within 7 days and we will provide a full product refund (delivery costs excluded).

LEDCentral.com.au CREE LED 2 Year Warranty

LEDCentral.com.au’s LED lighting which utilises CREE XLamp LED are covered by a 2 year manufacturer's warranty against defects on workmanship or materials used. The warranty service is limited to the replacement or repair of products utilising CREE XLamp LED Lamps that become defective under normal usage, as determined by LEDCentral.com.au. This warranty does not cover LED lights that have been abused, improperly used or disassembled including being installed in an enclosed lighting fixture or used in association with standard electronic or iron core transformers. Except as stated above, no other express warranty applies. Any liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the failure of the Lamp is excluded. For warranty claims on faulty globe (s), the claimer must provide proof of purchase information in the form of official invoice or funds transfer documentation with LEDCentral.com.au. The warranty claimer must return the faulty globe (s) directly to LEDCentral.com.au and is solely responsible for all postage costs associated with the warranty claim.

Please ensure all LED globes purchased through LEDCentral.com.au are not used in an enclosed fixture - This not only voids our warranty but can cause fire and incorrect LED operational outcome.

Terms of Sale

All LED Lighting Products remain the property of LEDCentral.com.au until they have been fully paid for by you. We are not required to deliver any product to you until payment has been received in full. We do not have any liability to you arising from the supply of our products to you, except that we shall provide you with a refund or replace products for you if there are any defects. All warranties and representations are otherwise fully excluded to the extent allowed by law.

LEDCentral.com.au LED Brightness (WATT - Lumen) & Lifespan

When comparing LED globes on LEDCentral.com.au or other external LED stores it is important to use the Lumen output rating as the measure of the LED rather than only its "WATT", as each LED globes use Cree Diodes, rated at certain input wattage, which can be reduced on the output due to heat dissipation.

Our 3x3watt and 5x3watt LED's, sometimes known in the industry as 9watt and 15watt LED globes, contain three or five units of CREE 3watt XLamp XR-E diodes. However due to insufficient heat dissipation in the LED housing configuration and not wanting to overload the units so we maximise the LED life, each of the diodes are tuned down with the lighting output being rated at approximately 5-6watts, measuring around 380 lumens (cool white) for the 3x3watt globes and 12watt measuring around 700 lumen for the 5x3watt downlight. The inner driver current range for our 3x3Watt LED is approx. 410-450mA and 700mA for our 5x3watt downlight. Anti Interference and dimming models of our 3x3watt and 5x3watt LED Globes can be slightly more reduced due to their configuration.

Similarly our 10Watt LED utilise Cree 10watt Cree XLamp MC-E diodes, however due to insufficient heat dissipation in their LED housing configuration, the output is reduced to enable long life - 500 Lumen (approx.) rated.

Please be aware that our LED lights are not a 1:1 replacement light for a 50W Halogen down light. Our 3x3watt, 10watt and 15watt LED lights are among the brightest LED available on the market today - currently no LED manufactured by any LED provider meet the light output of a 50w Halogen. As a business we will always endeavour to offer our customers the latest and brightest LED available.

Please be aware that the lumen output of all LEDCentral.com.au products is the output stated by the manufacturer, with the optimum driver in ideal conditions.

All LEDCentral.com.au Down lights use Cree LED components that are rated at approximately 50,000 hours lifespan as stated by the LED component manufacturer, Cree USA - www.cree.com. The maximum life of 50,000 hours is obtained primarily by optimal running conditions, including low temperature, good ventilation as well as using correct LED specific DC Constant Voltage Transformers in conjunction with the MR16 connection type blobes. LED Lifespan can be greatly reduced from 50,000 hours when not run in optimal conditions.

MR16 Compatible LED 12v Transformers

MR16 LED Light globes require DC constant voltage LED compatible 12v Transformers to run successfully. Please be aware your existing transformers may not work as desired with LED. Check our Transformers category to see our range of compatible transformers! Dimming may still not be compatible even when using recommended transformers, as it can depend on the dimming pot and combination. LEDCentral.com.au will not accept responsibility for consumers that purchase MR16 LED globes that are not compatible with their existing transformers, no refunds will be offered.

LEDCentral.com.au accepts no responsibility for electrical installations using any recommended LED transformers for sale through our store - Installation method and wiring is solely the responsibility of the Qualified Electrician installing the electrical device - This needs to be installed adhering to Australian Standards for Electrical Wiring which includes such things as junction boxes and correct insulated wiring must be used in association with LED transformer installation - Correct installation lies solely the responsibility of the Electrical professional installing the equipment - Please refer to the Qualified Electrical Installation - Limitation of Liabilty section of the terms and conditions.

Globe Manufacturing

LEDCentral.com.au works in association with its manufacturer of certified quality LED globes to provide the highest quality product available. Our manufacturer uses only the highest quality internal components within the final LED globe product output. CREE LED diodes are used as components of our manufactured LED globes but the globes themselves are not manufactured by CREE USA. Our manufacturer has licensing agreements with CREE USA to enable them to include the world class LED components in their quality LED globe build.

Lithium Batteries - Shipping Term

Due to new Australia Post dangerous goods regulations, Lithium batteries cannot be posted using Austrlian Post Express Air post. All purchases of our LED torch batteries will be shipped using Australia Post Road Freight. This regulation is totally out of LEDCentral.com.au control and must be followed to avoid hefty fines.
